Conference Venue


The 37th International Conference on Vacuum UltraViolet and X-ray Physics (VUVX 2010) will take place on the campus of the University of British Columbia (UBC)

Located on the western tip of Vancouver, the UBC campus is surrounded by the ocean and beautiful Pacific Spirit Regional Park. Some of the best museums and concert halls such as the Museum of Anthropology and the Chan Centre for the Performing Arts are located just minutes away from the conference venue.

 

The plenary sessions, the conference exhibit and poster sessions will take place at the Life Sciences Institute, the university‚Äôs state-of-the-art life-sciences research institute.

 

UBC is located just 20 minutes from the heart of Vancouver.  Downtown Vancouver can be reached by public bus transportation or taxi

shuttle operates on campus for convenient transfers between the different departments and buildings.
